Quantum source-provenance pilot — version 1.0
Actual row count: 5. Checked 30 September 2026.
Purpose: reading exercises and offline provenance-format demonstrations.
Records: one surface-code memory report; three post-quantum standards; one optimization-benchmark infrastructure report.
Primary-source links, original dates, locators, original short annotations, limitations and correction notes are included.

Method:
Selected accessible primary records with narrow checkable claims. Read current publisher pages and correction notices. Summarized in original wording. This is not independent laboratory replication or a human-review certification.
The NIST FIPS203/FIPS204 Planning Notes were reviewed. Their linked XLSX errata details were inaccessible and not evaluated.
Annotations are source-supported rather than newly measured observations.
Five is the reviewed quality slice; twenty additional records were not fabricated to meet a quota.

Bias and limits:
English-language convenience selection across different evidence types. Not representative or comprehensive. No scoring, forecasts, recommendation, application advantage, migration status or implementation certification.
Sources and corrections may change. Check dates are review dates, not source-publication dates.
Structural validation checks format only and makes no network request.
Context links are optional reading context and were not all independently retrieved successfully.

Rights:
Original annotations and documentation: CC BY 4.0, QubitWire.
Validator, schema and synthetic test fixtures: MIT, QubitWire.
Linked source materials, existing QubitWire content and third-party media retain their own rights. No bodies, figures, abstracts, player histories, faces, contact lists or private records are bundled.
Source-supported data is separate from synthetic fixtures under tests/.

Reproduce:
python3 validate_records.py examples/authentic-records.json --publish-ready --json
python3 -m unittest discover -s tests -v
