About QubitWire and these terms

QubitWire is a free editorial website about quantum technology, research, organizations, events and related industry developments. These Terms explain how you may use the website, how submissions are handled and the limits of the information we publish. In these Terms, “QubitWire,” “we” and “our” refer to the operator of this website. Questions can be sent to gotqubits@gmail.com.

You can read the public website without opening a QubitWire account or buying a subscription. The protected editorial desk is for authorized administration; it is not a public membership service. By using the website, you agree to these Terms to the extent they form an enforceable agreement under applicable law. If you do not agree, stop using the service. Use it consistently with applicable law. Nothing here takes away rights that the law does not allow an agreement to remove.

Our Privacy notice explains how information is handled. Our Security page explains reporting and security boundaries. Reading the website or accepting these Terms does not by itself mean you consent to optional Analytics or join a mailing list.

02

Editorial information and independent decisions

Articles, explainers, summaries, profiles and videos are provided for general information and discussion. They can describe research that is preliminary, contested or limited to particular experimental conditions. Publication does not establish that a technical claim has been independently reproduced or that a product will work in your environment. Follow the cited sources, dates, assumptions and limitations when assessing a claim.

QubitWire is not providing personalized investment, financial, legal, tax, medical or professional engineering advice. Content does not take account of your circumstances and is not an offer to buy or sell a security or a recommendation to enter a transaction. Seek appropriate professional advice and verify primary information before making a consequential decision. A company profile, quotation, link or discussion does not create an advisory relationship with QubitWire.

We may correct, expand, reclassify or remove material as evidence changes. Older material can remain useful as a record of what was known at the time, but it may no longer describe current conditions. Contact us with the page address and supporting evidence if you believe a statement is wrong or misleading. A correction request does not guarantee a particular editorial outcome.

03

QRank scores and organization profiles

QRank scores, ratings, ranking positions and related evaluative commentary are solely the QubitWire team’s subjective editorial opinions at the stated review date. They are informed by our independent research of the cited public information and our interpretation of that material under the displayed methodology. Selecting a cohort, choosing criteria and weights, assessing evidence and assigning ratings all involve editorial judgment. Numerical scores, decimal places, formulas and automated calculations do not turn those judgments into objective facts or verified measurements of a company’s actual quality. Reasonable reviewers can reach different conclusions from the same information.

QRank is not an official, regulatory, accredited or universally accepted rating system, independent audit, certification, credit rating or valuation. It does not establish scientific or technical superiority, product safety, fitness for a particular use, financial soundness or future commercial performance. A score is not a percentage probability of success or a measured percentage of overall capability. Scores do not guarantee investment returns or endorse a product, security or transaction.

Research can include company announcements, technical documentation, published papers, filings and other identified sources. “Independent research” describes QubitWire’s own research and interpretation; it does not mean every source is independent of the organization, every claim has been independently replicated, or QubitWire has tested its products or audited its business. Sources can be incomplete, dated, disputed or revised. Company-originated claims and external evidence should be read with their stated attribution and limitations.

Reported company facts and attributed third-party claims remain distinct from our opinions. This notice does not reclassify factual statements as opinion or excuse inaccurate or misleading reporting. Our evaluative conclusions are intended to be understood from the disclosed sources, rationale and criteria, not as allegations based on undisclosed adverse facts. Consult the QRank methodology and company sources and our editorial standards when evaluating an assessment.

Compare scores only within the stated sector, assessed cohort and methodology. The reviewed cohort is selective and may not represent the whole industry; different technologies and use cases are not interchangeable. A lower score, lower position, absence, unscored entry or withheld assessment does not, by itself, assert misconduct, dishonesty, illegality, insolvency, incompetence or that an organization’s products are defective. A higher score is not an assurance of superior results. Directory inclusion does not establish affiliation, approval or sponsorship by a listed organization.

Read each assessment’s review date, sources, rationale and limitations alongside its score. Scores and positions can change when evidence, coverage or methodology changes; such movement does not necessarily mean the organization’s actual performance changed. Historical assessments reflect the information and editorial framework used at that time. We may correct, clarify, update or withdraw an assessment as appropriate.

Use QRank for general information and discussion, not as a substitute for your own due diligence or suitable professional advice. It is not a recommendation to buy, sell, invest in, hire, avoid or enter a transaction with an organization. If you reproduce a score using a permitted sharing or export feature, keep its editorial-opinion label, relevant sector and review date and a link to this notice; do not present it as an objective certification or a universal ranking.

To request a correction or provide a response, use QRank corrections or email gotqubits@gmail.com. Identify the page, specific statement or rating, missing context and supporting sources, and tell us if you represent the organization. We assess substantiated factual concerns and may seek clarification, correct or clarify the material, or withhold it during review. Disagreement with an editorial judgment alone does not establish a factual error or guarantee a different score. This voluntary process does not restrict legal rights or require you to contact us before seeking a lawful remedy.

04

Market information and Investing pages

Market widgets, prices, charts and financial information are supplied by external services, including TradingView. The widgets shown on QubitWire provide delayed information and can be unavailable, incomplete or out of date. A displayed quote is not an executable offer or a guarantee of the price available from a broker.

QubitWire does not open brokerage accounts, request brokerage credentials, place trades or hold investment funds. Verify symbols, exchange, currency, timing and material company information with the relevant primary source before relying on market information. External providers retain their rights in their data, and these Terms do not grant a license to redistribute it.

05

Events, calendar files and external services

Event listings help readers discover opportunities. Organizers control registration, pricing, venue, timing, eligibility, cancellations and refunds. Confirm the latest details with the organizer before registering, traveling or making a payment. Downloading a calendar file records an event in a format your software may support; it does not register you, reserve a place or guarantee that subsequent schedule changes will appear in your calendar.

QubitWire links to outside websites and includes externally supplied media and widgets. Those services operate under their own terms and privacy practices. Links and embeds may change or stop working. A link is not a promise about the outside service or an endorsement of everything it publishes. Check the destination before entering personal information or making a purchase.

06

Reading, sharing and intellectual property

You may browse QubitWire, share links and use the saving, comparison or export tools provided on the site for their intended purposes. Copyright and other rights in original QubitWire material remain with their respective owners. Images, videos, logos, quotations and other third-party material may have separate owners and conditions.

Permission to use the website is not a general license to republish its articles, copy third-party videos, resell a copied directory or imply that QubitWire endorses your service. Ask us about uses requiring permission. Statutory exceptions and limitations, including applicable fair use or fair dealing rights, are preserved. Attribution is helpful but does not replace permission where permission is legally required.

07

Your messages, corrections and event suggestions

Submit only material you have the right to share. Give accurate information, identify relevant uncertainties and do not impersonate another person or organization. Do not include another person's private contact details, confidential documents or sensitive information unless you have a lawful reason and it is necessary for the request.

You keep the rights you have in your submission. By sending it, you give QubitWire a non-exclusive, royalty-free permission to receive, store, review, format and use it only as reasonably needed to handle the request. Providers helping us operate the site may process it for that purpose. When you deliberately submit public event information or a correction for publication, this permission includes editing and publishing the relevant material in that context. It does not authorize publishing a private contact message or its contact details as a testimonial, selling your information or adding you to unrelated marketing.

Event suggestions and other messages are reviewed rather than posted automatically. We may ask for evidence, edit a proposed listing, decline it or remove it. Submission does not guarantee publication, a reply by a particular time, payment or an ongoing relationship. Retention and requests concerning personal information are covered by our Privacy notice.

08

Weekly briefing and messages

The briefing launch list records interest in one weekly email containing selected quantum articles, videos and industry updates. Regular delivery is not active yet. Email confirmation is required before weekly editions begin for an address. Joining the launch list is not a guarantee of a launch date or an uninterrupted publishing schedule.

Newsletter choice is separate from optional Analytics and from sending a contact message. When delivery is activated, editions will include an unsubscribe option; you can also contact QubitWire to request removal. Contact and event messages enter the private editorial inbox. Notifications are sent through the connected email service. Do not use a form submission as an emergency or time-critical communication channel.

09

Community votes and saved items

Video votes express visitor reactions, not verified audience research, expert approval or verified unique-person counts. A functional browser identifier helps enforce one vote per video per UTC day. Clearing cookies or changing browsers can affect that identity. Do not use automation, coordinated false activity or repeated identities to manipulate totals or evade voting limits.

Saved items use storage on your device and do not create a synchronized QubitWire account. Browser settings, clearing site data or moving to another device can change what is available. Keep your own copy of information you need to retain.

10

Respectful use and proportionate research

Use the website without harming others or interfering with its operation. Do not submit malware, phishing content, threats, harassment, unlawful material, fabricated requests or content that infringes privacy or intellectual property rights. Do not try to obtain another person's data, access the editorial desk without authorization, bypass protective restrictions or overwhelm forms and other services with requests.

Ordinary reading, search-engine discovery, linking, accessibility tools, lawful quotation and careful research are welcome. Automated access must respect applicable law and published access controls and must not cause disruptive load, collect private submissions or manipulate votes. We do not treat criticism or a responsibly submitted security report as misconduct merely because it identifies a problem. Follow the Security page when reporting a suspected vulnerability; it does not authorize testing a third party's infrastructure.

We may reject submissions, limit requests or restrict access where reasonably necessary to address abuse, a material breach, security risk or legal obligation. If you believe a restriction or moderation decision was mistaken, contact us with enough detail to investigate.

11

Availability, warranties and responsibility

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, QubitWire and its owners, operators, directors, officers, editors, contributors, employees and agents provide the free website, QRank and other content “as is” and “as available,” without express or implied warranties of accuracy, completeness, currency, merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose or uninterrupted availability. We do not promise error-free content, a particular refresh interval or any result from relying on the publication. Features, sources and external integrations can change.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, and where these Terms are enforceable against the person making a claim, QubitWire and the people identified above are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, special or exemplary damages, including loss of profits, revenue, business opportunities, anticipated savings or goodwill, arising from use of or reliance on the website or its content, including QRank, even if advised of the possibility of such loss. To the same extent, they are not responsible for business or investment losses from decisions based on general editorial material or losses not reasonably foreseeable from a breach of these Terms.

These provisions benefit the identified people in connection with their work for QubitWire, subject to the same legal limits. They do not create personal immunity or bind a person merely because QubitWire mentions or assesses them. Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability for fraud, willful injury, deliberate misconduct, gross negligence, violations of law where liability cannot lawfully be limited, or any other liability, consumer guarantee, privacy right or remedy that cannot be excluded or limited. Mandatory legal protections take priority.

If a provision is unenforceable, it applies only to the extent the law permits, and the remaining provisions continue to the extent legally possible. These Terms do not waive lawful criticism, reporting to regulators or access to remedies that cannot lawfully be restricted.

12

Copyright concerns and other complaints

If you believe material on QubitWire infringes your copyright or another right, email gotqubits@gmail.com with the relevant page address, identification of the work or right concerned, an explanation of the issue and a way to contact you. Tell us whether you are the rights holder or are authorized to act for them. Include only the personal information needed to assess the report.

We may request clarification or additional information required by an applicable legal process and may restrict material while assessing a credible complaint. This contact route is also available for corrections and concerns about how these Terms are applied. It does not replace any right you have to contact a regulator, use a statutory complaint procedure or seek a remedy available under applicable law.

13

Changes and contact

September 8, 2026 update: We expanded the QRank editorial-opinion explanation, research limitations and correction process, and clarified the scope and legal limits of the warranty and liability provisions for QubitWire and its team.

We may update these Terms when the website, its features or legal requirements change. The page will show the current update date. Material changes will be identified on the website, and any additional notice or consent required by law will be provided. A change will not be used to remove rights that have already arisen or to treat optional data use as consented to merely because you continue reading.

For questions about these Terms, contact gotqubits@gmail.com.
