Microsoft introduces Majorana 2 and its redesigned material stack. The company says the chip's qubits are 1,000 times more reliable than those in its previous generation and positions the device as a step toward practical quantum systems. This is a first-party product announcement: the reliability figure is Microsoft's claim, and the short video does not independently establish useful quantum advantage or large-scale fault tolerance.
