TECHNOLOGY & ACCESS

What it does. Where it fits.

Semiconductor optical gain hybrid-integrated with silicon-nitride external-cavity photonics and electronic tuning.

Who should look closer

Quantum optics and QKD teams requiring tunable sources with documented electronic control.

QubitWire’s editorial assessment of practical fit.

Laser modules and OEM components

Product pages provide configuration and sales enquiry; modules have a GUI and Python control route.

DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE

What has been demonstrated

Supplier specifications and operational guidance quantify laser behavior. QUARTERNEXT identifies the planned QKD integration role.

What remains unresolved

Broad tuning range is not entirely mode-hop-free. The QUARTERNEXT source describes future integration and certification work, not completed network deployment or product certification.

The next question to watch

Report externally validated quantum-link performance using the integrated laser under declared stability and environmental conditions.

A research question, not a promised milestone.
