Qinu

Qinu supplies dilution-refrigerator systems for experiments at millikelvin temperatures. Its range includes a compact laboratory configuration, an optical-access version and a larger version with more experimental space and connections. Cryostat, gas handling and cryocooler placement can be arranged to suit a laboratory.

TECHNOLOGY & ACCESS

What it does. Where it fits.

Compact closed-cycle dilution refrigeration with optical and larger-space configurations.

Who should look closer

Editorial assessment: Laboratory teams comparing refrigeration layouts for quantum-device experiments, especially when optical access, vibration or restricted floor space affects the choice.

QubitWire’s editorial assessment of practical fit.

System configurations and direct enquiry

Version L, LPO and XL have separate product descriptions. Installation, wiring and cooling requirements should be discussed for the actual experimental load.

DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE

What has been demonstrated

The official catalog distinguishes optical access from larger experimental volume and lists independently positionable system elements. These are configuration descriptions, not comparative evidence that one refrigerator is best for all quantum devices.

What remains unresolved

Base temperature, cooling power, cooldown time, vibration and usable space answer different questions. Combining numbers from different configurations would describe a product the catalog does not offer.

The next question to watch

Can a selected configuration meet the experiment’s thermal load and access requirements with documented cooldown, vibration and stable operation?

A research question, not a promised milestone.
