A practical way to show your skills
Implement a toy scheduler with a simulated clock. Define deadlines, ordering and cancellation, then test late commands, reset and disconnection. Publish the interface contract without claiming that the exercise meets real hardware timing budgets.
Share a small well-tested module, interface specification or redacted verification plan. Explain reset behavior, error reporting and recovery from partial failure. Evidence that another team could integrate your work is especially valuable in a multidisciplinary environment.

- Which timing guarantees are required and where are they measured?
- How are firmware and experiment versions coordinated?
- Who owns integration testing across the hardware boundary?
A useful first-month focus: Reproduce the build and test workflow, understand the reset and recovery model and trace one command from software to the hardware interface.
