Reader guide

Is a job I saved still open?Open the original listing to check its status, location and requirements before applying.Context reviewed

A saved job is a route back to an opportunity, not an application. Reopen the employer’s exact requisition and check its status, location, eligibility and requirements before acting. A general careers page does not establish that a particular role remains open.

Keep the requisition identity with your notes so that a changed title or location does not silently become the same opportunity. Compare the current description with the skills and constraints that mattered when you saved it, and use the employer’s own application route when you decide to apply.

The self-directed portfolio projects on Jobs offer ways to practise technical skills. They are not vacancies, employer assignments or promises of hiring preference. Saved-job controls do not submit an application or establish an alert or synchronization service beyond the functionality described on the page.

Questions to take with you

Does a saved role stay open?

Saving does not establish current availability. Reopen the employer’s exact requisition and verify its status and requirements before acting.

Can a QubitWire portfolio exercise be described as employer-approved training?

No. The pathways are original self-directed learning projects. They do not claim employer endorsement, certification or a hiring advantage.
