A practical way to show your skills
Create synthetic sensor data with drift and a changing environmental variable. Compare a naive estimate with a calibrated approach. Flag conditions where neither is reliable instead of always returning a precise-looking number.
A calibration report, uncertainty analysis or field-test plan can demonstrate relevance. Show how data quality is assessed and how an invalid reading is communicated. Make your contribution and the test conditions clear without revealing confidential customer or location data.

- How is calibration maintained over time?
- Which application constraint is hardest to satisfy?
A useful first-month focus: Learn the measurement chain, review calibration provenance and reproduce an accepted report using the team’s quality criteria.

A laboratory sensitivity figure does not establish performance in every environment. Keep units, conditions and uncertainty with each result.
