What has been demonstrated

The June 2026 toric-code preprint reports repeated error-detection measurements with atom reloading, reaching 90 cycles in one code configuration.

What remains unresolved

Logical-memory and selected circuit demonstrations do not establish general application advantage. Magne’s announced commissioning is prospective; public self-service execution was not established by this review.

The next question to watch

Can longer logical computations and customer commissioning demonstrate reliable end-to-end operation beyond selected memory and circuit tests?
