Experience you can build on
Semiconductor manufacturing, materials processing, cleanroom research and quality engineering can provide relevant experience. Translate your background through process control, traceability and the ability to separate a design issue from a process issue. Do not disclose restricted process recipes.

A practical way to show your skills
Analyze a synthetic process dataset with batch IDs, measurement uncertainty and a deliberate confounding variable. Explain why the newest process step may not explain the observed change. Show traceability without sharing process recipes.
Show a redacted experiment plan or process-improvement report with clear baselines and limits. Explain how samples were identified, how measurements were compared and what remained uncertain. Team safety and disciplined records are part of credible evidence, not an optional appendix.
