Quantum fingerprints for communication
Buhrman, Richard Cleve, John Watrous and Ronald de Wolf showed that quantum fingerprints can be exponentially shorter than the original strings without shared randomness or entanglement between senders. The result establishes a quantum–classical separation in the simultaneous-message model, not a general compression scheme for recovering all original data.

Cofounding QuSoft
