DOCUMENTED EVIDENCE

What has been demonstrated

A peer-reviewed external study examined false-vacuum bubble dynamics on a 5,564-qubit ring embedded in Advantage hardware. Separately, the August 2026 DOCOMO announcement reports lower network-signaling loads from a hybrid application.

What remains unresolved

An annealer does not execute arbitrary gate-model circuits. Reported hybrid business outcomes do not by themselves establish quantum speedup; the separate gate-model program is not validated by annealing results.

The next question to watch

Can independent end-to-end evaluations reproduce practical gains after accounting for classical processing, embedding, run time and operating cost?

A research question, not a promised milestone.
